NC BOWHNTER EXPO – 3-D HUNTER SHOOT RULES & REGULATIONS

REGISTRATION AND SHOOT DATES/TIMES:

Friday:         March 28, 2008:  4 - 7 p.m.
Saturday:     March 29, 2008; 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Sunday:        March 30, 2008; 9 a.m. -  3 p.m.

SHOOTER CLASSES

Juniors (8 & Under); Cubs (9-11); Youth (12-14); Young Adult (15-17); Men’s Open; Women’s Open; Hunter; Fixed Pins Open; Recurve; Longbow/Primitive.

            General Rules:    
First “Round” counts for score.
NO Binoculars or Rangefinders permitted on range.
SOME or ALL Targets may be “timed” shots in all classes.

Juniors (Ages 8 & under)
            Shoot free, each participant will receive an award free

Cubs thru Women's Open - Shoot what you bring
            Cubs Ages 9-11
            Youth Ages 12-14
            Young Adults Ages 15-17
            Men's Open
            Women's Open

Hunter
            No restrictions on vanes/fletching length; screw in points.
            Stabilizer not to be over 12" in front of the riser.
            Sights may be used with 3-fixed pins of adjustable sights.
            Pins cannot be moved after 1st target.
            Any adjustment after 1st target will result in disqualification.

Fixed Pins Open
            Shoot what you bring

Recurve
            Shoot what you bring

Long Bow or Primitive
Shoot what you bring

Registration:
            No pre-registration required.
            Registration Fees:  
                        Juniors (8 & under)= Shoot Free
                        All Other Classes = $10
                        EXTRA “FUN” Rounds = $5

NOTE: Should name, address, phone # on score card not be legible, card will be disqualified and not be eligible for awards.
No refunds once registration has been completed.

AWARDS:
Three places will be awarded in each Class EXCEPT Juniors.
In Juniors class (8 & Under), all participants will receive an award.
