Rodney Dean Carter

Rodney Dean Carter died suddenly on March 22, 2008 at the age of 47. He was born in Guilford County on August 10, 1960 and lived most his life in this area. Rodney was an electrician with Brady Electrical Contractors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Ray Carter. Surviving family members include his mother, Carolyn Henley Carter of Greensboro; daughter, Lacy Jane Carter of Randleman; Sister, Kelsie Lea Carter of Greensboro; former wife, Sandra Carter; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; friends in the Randolph Bowhunters Club, and his best friend from childhood, Jimmy Paris.

Rodney was a member of the Sure Foundation Church in Randleman. He was also a member of Randolph Bowhunters Club and the North Carolina Bowhunters Association. He was an avid Tar Heels fan and he loved to fish and hunt. He especially enjoyed bowhunting.
