Steven L Greeson has been a mainstay member of NCBA for over 20 years. His record of Service and Bowhunting Accomplishments are outstanding. Steve has always made himself available for Service to the NCBA at every opportunity. He has worked the NCBA booth at many of shows and events. If he can be there, he is always one of the first to volunteer to help. His Bowhunting Accomplishments speak for themselves. The list below is only a few of the many deer and other animals that he has taken in his many years of bowhunting. He is also a big contributor to the Hunters for the Hungry. His nomination for the NCBA Bowhunter Hall of Fame is very long overdue.

Pioneering:

Steve Greeson began teaching archery to youths in the mid-1980's. His work with youth archery education at Guilford Bowhunters preceeded the creation of the Archery Alley youth program that is now known statewide as an introductory tool to teach archery to youths and adults alike.

Service:

  • President of NCBA (1994-1996)
  • Vice-President of NCBA (1992-1994)
  • Official NCBA Measurer (1982 to present)
  • NCBA Booth Coordinator / Worker (through 2009; over 15 years)
  • President of Guilford Bowhunters (1990-1991)
  • NCBA Associate Council Member (1989-1990, 1991)
  • NCBA Past President (1996-2000)
  • NCBA "Service" Lifetime Membership awarded - 1990
  • Certified IBE instructor since 1990.
  • NCBA Convention/Banquet Chairman (1993 - 1994)

Bowhunting Accomplishments:

Steve has numerous listings in the All-Time records list. These listings include many Whitetail deer, coyote, groundhog, and many raccoons. Steve has also taken black bear in Canada.
